In addition to the many course offerings within the department and the wonderful study abroad opportunities, students in the Department of Foreign Languages also have the chance to participate in a variety of clubs, activities, and multicultural events around campus. Language clubs like Spanish Club, German Club, and Francophone Club offer students a chance to practice their language skills with fellow learners and native speakers. Language tutors, generally from more advanced level classes, offer one on one and group tutoring to beginning students. Finally, like all students at SCSU, students have a chance to participate in the many varied multicultural events on the university’s diverse campus.
