The SCSU APICS student chapter team of Jared Williams (finance major), Joe Kucan (economics major), Mayur Mohite (engineering management graduate program), and Ling Li (engineering management graduate program) were among six teams that competed in the International Student Case Competition at the 2013 APICS International Conference. Following their win in the regional case competition last February, the Heartland district awarded the team a $5,000 scholarship to participate in the international competition. Although the team did not win, they were honored as among the top teams in the country.

Mayur Mohite also won third place in the research-poster competition for student scholars at the conference. He was honored at the awards reception with a cash prize.
