Cost of Attendance/Payment Information

Undergraduate Students

St. Cloud State University provides an affordable education and excellent investment in your future. Since establishing and organizing your personal finances are critical in making the most of your educational experience, listed below are the estimated cost of attendance. If you would like an estimate of your eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant or a Minnesota State Grant, check out the Minnesota Office of Higher Education's Financial Aid Estimator.

The following charts reflect estimated costs for the 2015-2016 academic year and are subject to change.

  • Costs are based on 15 credits per semester for a dependent student, living on campus, with a Husky AnyTime Meal Plan.
  • Tuition & Fee rates are subject to change without notice. Please see the Business Services Office website for a complete breakdown of tuition rates and fees.
  • Travel and Miscellaneous costs are not included in the estimates listed below. Students will want to budget for these accordingly. The financial aid budget will include approximately $1350 per semester for residents and $1680 per semester for non-residents. Personal costs can vary based on student's personal spending habits. The St. Cloud Metro Bus is used by many students and is FREE when you use your SCSU ID card.
