Undergraduate Students

St. Cloud State University provides an affordable education and an excellent investment in your future. Since establishing and organizing your personal finances are critical in making the most of your educational experience, we have listed below the estimated cost of attendance. If you would like an estimate of your eligibility for a Federal Pell Grant or a Minnesota State Grant please use the Financial Aid Estimator at the Minnesota Office of Higher Education website.

Payment Information

Your statement of tuition, fees, housing and miscellaneous charges is available on the web after you register for classes. Payments may be made by credit card, cash, check, or money order. Credit card payments can be made on-line or by phone. Payments may also be made in person in the SCSU Business Services Office.

Any financial aid you receive will be applied to your charges after the fifth day of the semester and will be posted on-line after that date. Any financial aid remaining after current charges are paid will be made available after your financial aid is applied. This is generally two weeks after the semester begins. This excess may either be:

  • deposited directly into your bank account which you may set up through your e-Services account under the "Financial Aid" link, or
  • a check will be mailed to your local address. Remember to keep your local address updated under the "Account Management" link of your e-Services.
