Financial aid in the form of loans, scholarships, and graduate assistantships are available to graduate students (master's and doctoral). To determine eligibility for federal and state educational loans, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the St. Cloud State Application for Financial Aid

  • Graduate students are automatically considered independent for financial aid purposes and do not need to include parental information on the FAFSA.
  • Graduate students do not qualify for federal and state grants since they already hold a baccalaureate degree. Graduate assistantships may be available to assist with educational costs. Contact the Graduate Studies Office for complete information on how to apply for a graduate assistantship.
  • Employer tuition reimbursement or a university tuition waiver must be reported to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid if you will receive them since these waivers may affect your eligibility for other federal and state funding sources.

Tuition & Fee rates are subject to change without notice. Please see the Business Services Office web site for a complete breakdown of tuition rates and fees.
