Loan entrance counseling for first-time borrowers

All first-time borrowers of the federal Direct Loan must complete loan Entrance Counseling (this is not the same as Financial Awareness Counseling). The federal loan program requires that you have completed Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note (MPN) before loans funds are applied to your account. 

Visit https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action to complete your Entrance Counseling and MPN. You will need your federal Personal Identification Number (PIN) to login. This is the same PIN you used to sign your FAFSA.
