Congratulations on your acceptance to St. Cloud State University!

We hope both your academic and personal experiences here will be exciting, challenging and rewarding, and that you will be successful in achieving the goals you have set for yourself.

As a public university, SCSU is very affordable, since we receive tax dollars to help keep tuition costs low. Even with an affordable education, we find that some of our students need financial assistance with living and miscellaneous expenses as well as tuition, fees and books. You may wish to use the Estimated Budget Worksheet to as a guideline to determine your budget (Costs minus Financial Aid) while in school.

We also encourage students to become knowledgeable about basic financial management and encourage you to subscribe to the Money Matters newsletter and to review two resources provided by the Minnesota State Colleges and University System (MnSCU): Money Management Brochure and Personal Financial Plan website.

This site will provide you with specific information and links to answer your questions from the initial application process through the awarding and disbursement of your financial aid. We also encourage you to call or visit our office with any of your financial aid concerns.
