Our site is designed to provide you with a general overview of financial aid programs and give you guidance in the application process.  We sincerely hope that the services and financial aid we offer will help you achieve your educational goals at St. Cloud State University.

Summer Sessions

March 15, 2010 Summer 2010 Financial Aid Application available
June 1 Deadline to meet with an assistant director regarding summer 2010 consortium agreement
June 1 Summer drop for non-payment deadline
June 8 Deadline to submit consortium agreement for summer 2010
June 9 Summer Pell Grant, Academic Competitive Grant, and SMART Grant awards are based on the credits you are enrolled in on this day.If you add a class after June 9, 2010 your Pell Grant will not be increased based on the change in credits.
June 10 Financial aid applied to student accounts for summer 2010
June 15 Direct deposit available for summer 2010
June 16 Disbursement checks mailed to local address on file for summer term
June 30 2009-2010 FAFSA deadline
July 23 Deadline for 2010 Summer Financial Aid Application
July 29 Service fee applied to account for unpaid balance for summer term 2010
July 29 Final due date for summer term 2010 tuition and fees. Registration hold if full payment is not made by this date.
July 30 Summer loan request forms and loan applications due in the Financial Aid Office
   

Academic Year - 2010-2011

Fall Semester  
August 6, 2010 Deadline to meet with an assistant director regarding fall 2010 consortium agreement
August 9 Drop for non-payment deadline for fall 2010
August 23 Fall classes begin
August 27 Deadline to submit consortium agreement for fall 2010
August 30 Fall Pell Grant, Academic Competitive Grant, and SMART Grant awards are based on the credits you are enrolled in on this day.
If you add a class after August 30, 2010 your Pell Grant will not be increased based on the change in credits.
August 31 Financial aid applied to student accounts for fall 2010
September 3 Direct deposit available for fall 2010
September 7 Fall disbursement checks for fall 2010 mailed to local address on file as of August 30, 2010. You may update your local address at e-Services.
September 15  Service fee applied to account for unpaid balance for fall semester 2010
September 22  FAFSA deadline for Minnesota State Grant and Minnesota Achieve Scholarship for fall 2010
November 1, 2010

Final due date for fall semester 2010 tuition and fees. Registration hold if full payment is not made by this date.

January 26 Spring disbursement checks mailed to local address on file as of January 18, 2011. You may update your local address at e-Services.
February 2 Service fee applied to account for unpaid balance for spring semester 2011
February 9 FAFSA deadline for Minnesota State Grant and Minnesota Achieve Scholarship for spring 2011
March 21, 2011

Final due date for spring semester 2011 tuition and fees. Registration hold if full payment is not made by this date.

Fall Semester  
August 7, 2009 Deadline to meet with an assistant director regarding fall 2009 consortium agreement
August 10th Drop for non-payment deadline for fall 2009
August 24th Fall classes begin
August 30th Deadline to submit consortium agreement for fall 2009
August 31st Fall Pell Grant awards based on the credits you are enrolled in on this day.
If you add a class after August 31st your Pell Grant will not be increased based on this change in credits.
September 1st Financial aid applies to accounts for fall 2009
September 4th Direct deposit available for fall 2009
September 8th Fall disbursement checks mailed to local address on file
September 16th Late fee applied to account for unpaid fall semester balance
September 23rd FAFSA deadline for Minnesota State Grant and Minnesota Achieve Scholarship for fall 2009
November 2nd

Final due date for fall tuition and fees. Registration hold if full payment is not made by this date.

December 24, 2009 Deadline to meet with an assistant director regarding spring 2010 consortium agreement
December 28th:  Drop for non-payment deadline for spring 2010
January 2, 2010:  Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2010-2011 available online at www.fafsa.gov
January 11th:  Spring classes begin
January 15th Scholarship application deadline for scholarships awarded by the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid. Check the scholarship page for all scholarship deadlines.
January 18th:  Deadline to submit consortium agreement for spring 2010
January 19th: Spring Pell Grant awards based on the credits you are enrolled in on this day.
If you add a class after January 19th your Pell Grant will not be increased based on this change in credits.
January 20th: Financial aid applies to accounts for spring 2010
January 25th: Scholarship application deadline - Freshman in fall 2010 (Admissions office)
January 26th: Direct deposit available for spring
January 27th: Spring disbursement checks mailed to local address on file as of as of January 19, 2010. You may update your local address at e-Services.
February 3rd: Service fee applied to account for unpaid balance for spring 2010
February 10th: FAFSA deadline for Minnesota State Grant and Minnesota Achieve Scholarship for spring 2010
