Our site is designed to provide you with a general overview of financial aid programs and give you guidance in the application process.  We sincerely hope that the information we offer will help you achieve your educational goals at St. Cloud State University. Important Dates and Deadlines

Summer Sessions

May 7, 2012 Summer 2012 drop for non-payment deadline
May 14 Summer classes begin
May 15 Deadline to submit consortium agreement for summer 2012
May 15 Summer Pell Grant awards are based on the credits you are enrolled in on this day. If you add a class after May 15, 2012 your Pell Grant will not be increased based on the change in credits.
May 16 Financial aid applied to student accounts for summer 2012
May 21 Direct deposits* for summer 2012 sent to bank
May 22 Disbursement checks* mailed to local address on file for summer 2012
June 30 2011-2012 FAFSA deadline
July 5 Payment Plan fee applied to accounts with unpaid balance for summer term 2012
July Final due date summer 2012 tuition and fees - all accounts must be paid in full
July 30, 2012 Summer 2012 loan request forms and loan applications due in the Financial Aid Office
  * Financial aid overages may be delayed if you have a prior balance.

Academic Year - 2011-2012

Fall Semester    
August 8, 2011 Drop for non-payment deadline for fall 2011  
August 22 Fall classes begin  
August 29 Fall Pell Grant awards are based on the credits you are enrolled in on this day. If you add a class after August 29, 2011 your Pell Grant will not be increased based on the change in credits.  
August 30 Financial aid applied to student accounts for fall 2011  
September 6 Direct deposits for fall 2011 sent to bank  
September 8 Disbursement checks for fall 2011 mailed to local address on file. Be sure your local address is current  
September 13 Service fee applied to accounts with unpaid balances for fall semester 2011  
September 21 FAFSA deadline for Minnesota State Grant for fall 2011  
November 1, 2011 Final due date for fall semester 2011 tuition and fees. Registration hold if full payment is not made by this date.  
     
Spring Semester    
December 23, 2011 Drop for non-payment deadline for spring 2012  
January 2, 2012 FAFSA for 2012-2013 available online at www.fafsa.gov  
January 9 Spring classes begin  
January 16 Financial Aid Office endowed scholarship application available  
January 17 Spring Pell Grant awards are based on the credits you are enrolled in on this day. If you add a class after January 17, 2012 your Pell Grant will not be increased based on this change in credits.  
January 18 Financial aid applied to student accounts for spring 2012  
January 23 Direct deposits for spring 2012 sent to bank  
January 25 Disbursement checks for spring 2012 mailed to local address on file. Be sure your local address is current  
January 25 Foundation-Sponsored Scholarship application deadline for fall 2012 (Admissions Office)  
February 1 Service fee applied to account for unpaid balance for spring semester 2012  
February 8 FAFSA deadline for Minnesota State Grant for spring 2012 (if you have not already filed your 2011-2012 FAFSA)  
March 20, 2012
