Speaking for Ourselves: A study with and for immigrant and refugee communities in the Twin Cities

Description: Speakers. Learn more about the experiences of the newest Minnesotans, their needs, strengths, and preferences for services, amenities, and community experiences. Interviewed were 459 members of Hmong, Karen, Latino, Liberian, and Somali cultural communities who live in the Twin Cities, and worked with representatives of these communities along with other stakeholders to develop action steps that will improve service delivery or access, change public policy, debunk stereotypes, or otherwise improve the lives of immigrants and refugees.
