The technology should be used to drive active learning, give immediate feedback, and present external and internal multiple representations in multimedia learning. In using discussion groups, other interactive features, and inquiry based approaches, teachers can nurture a learning environment that enables students to create their own meaning, and organize and rationalize their personal experiences. Examining experience fosters learning (Fosnot, 1996). Technology should be used to serve pedagogical needs and to enable meaningful learning (Frank and Barzilai, 2008)
