This Student Recital will feature Mark Alan Rhodes II, a senior music and geography student at SCSU, on trumpet. While playing standard trumpet selections from Hummel, Kennen, and Vivaldi, Mark will be joined in this recital by Carolyn Ritter (Piccolo Trumpet), Andrew Jacobson (Narrator) and Olga Olseth (Piano Accompaniment) to deliver some rather unique works as well. Works by Anthony Plog and Peter Eben, while being unique, will simply be the precursor to the final two works of the concert performed by a 17 part brass band with percussion and soloist. Mark is excited to share with others what he has been working on for the past four years and even more excited to share the stage with so many of his friends.
