Description: Speakers. Jason Dittmer researches popular geopolitics, or the circulation of geopolitical discourse through popular culture and mass media. He is the author of over seventy articles, book chapters, and reviews, his emphasis on aspects of American popular culture that inflect foreign policy can be found in his books Captain America and the Nationalist Superhero: Metaphors, Narratives, and Geopolitics and Mapping the End Times: American Evangelical Geopolitics and Apocalyptic Visions and textbook, Popular Culture, Geopolitics, and Identity.
