Healthcare Directives: Part 2

This workshop will build on the information provided in Part 1 (held on September 20).  It will explore some of the barriers to having advance care planning conversations and offer suggestions for how to get started.

Presenter: Patty Bresser is an associate professor in the Department of Nursing Science at  St. Cloud State University. Her teaching specialty is Geriatric Nursing, where she teaches students about advance care planning (ACP) and healthcare directives. Patty is a certified ACP facilitator and instructor and is working with the central Minnesota ACP initiative, Light the Legacy (www.lightthelegacy.org) during her sabbatical.
