Description: Speakers. John T. Dalton, Assistant Professor of Economics, Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, N.C. will speak on “Why is polygyny more prevalent in Western Africa? An African slave trade prospective.” John T. Dalton has taught courses at the University of Minnesota and served as a research analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. His areas of expertise include international trade, growth and development and macroeconomics.
