| Description: | Fine Arts. The SCSU Percussion Ensemble and World Drumming Group will join forces with local blues and rock musicians to stage a concert of rockin' tunes for percussion and rhythm section. From the jazz/rock fusion of Pat Metheny's Phase Dance to the bluesy/70's rock of Edgar Winter's Frankenstein to the slammin' pulse of traditional Brazilian carnival samba, the evening's program is going to be a hit with all ages and will leave you groovin' on the way out the door. Join the Percussion Ensemble and the World Drumming Group as they raise the roof in the Kimberly A. Ritsche Auditorium. |
