Husksynet ID , SCSU email, and D2L
After you have registered for your first class, then you are ready to apply for your huskynet ID # and SCSU email address.
- You will need your huskynet ID in order to access courses materials from the D2L (Desire to Learn) web sites, and
- You will need your SCSU email address to receive and to send university communication. Please understand that all communication from the university to you will be through this email address only and that the university will not be responsible for your failure to read these communications.
For your Huskynet ID and SCSU email account, you need to follow these steps:
- At the SCSU homepage, http://www.stcloudstate.edu/, click on current students;
- Click on huskynet from the left hand column and go to: http://huskynet.stcloudstate.edu/;
- Click on activate my huskynet ID from the left hand column and go to: http://huskynet.stcloudstate.edu/; and
- Follow the four step process which begins with typing in your SCSU ID # and your pin.
After you have your Huskynet ID, you can then access D2L through the following steps:
- At the SCSU homepage, http://www.stcloudstate.edu/, click on current students;
- Click on D2L from the left hand column and go to: http://huskynet.stcloudstate.edu/instructional/d2l/;
- Enter your huskynet ID and password (different perhaps from your SCSU ID # pin) from the right hand column; and
- You can now navigate your own D2L web site that will list web pages for all the courses that you are currently enrolled in.
