Careers in TESL or TEFL

The TESL MA prepares current and future teachers for:

Careers in the United States in:

1. community and technical colleges,
2. adult education,
3. Intensive English Programs, and
4. elementary and secondary schools;

Teaching English as a foreign language careers internationally in:

1. colleges and universities,
2. English Institutes, and
3. international schools;

Teaching other second or foreign languages such as Chinese or Japanese in the US; and

Preparation for Ph. D. programs in Applied Linguistics or related fields.
