Accreditation

TESL programs at SCSU have been reviewed professionally and have been considered highly by external reviews and other accrediting agencies.  TESL programs include: 

 For undergraduate students:

1.  The Linguistics BA,
2. The Linguistics Minor, and
3. The TESL Minor;

For Graduate students: TESL MA

For both undergraduate and graduate students:  K-12 ESL licensure.

The first program review is our External Review in 2003, summed up our TESL programs as follows: 
“Wow…a package of programs…that one would expect to see at a university twice its size and located on one of the coasts,”  (External Review Report, p. 7)
