Peer Group Activities
The Summer ESL Camp is one of only two academic camps for high school students on the campus during the summer. The Math and Science Camp is the other camp that brings high school students to the SCSU campus during the summer. These students participate in a very highly structured program that tries to recruit them to come to SCSU as college students.
These two groups of high school students share three activities during the Summer:
1. Ice-cream social when the student meet and participate in ice-breaking
games
2. Sports evening when the students go bowling and play ping pong and
other games together; and
3. The Teen Dance when the students spend an evening dancing with a DJ
playing music.
