Summer ESL Camp - Arrival

Arrival

A coach bus will pick up the students at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport to transport the students to St. Cloud. St. Cloud is 75 miles northwest of the Twin Cities on Interstate 94. Mentors will identify their students at the airport and take them to the bus.

Students will check into the dormitory by about 4:00 pm on the day of their arrival. Lawrence Hall is a newly renovated dormitory with air conditioning.

The first dinner in St. Cloud will begin right after check-in. Garvey Commons will provide this meal as well as most meals for the students during their stay in St. Cloud.

After dinner, mentors will be encouraged to take students on walking tours around campus so that the students get some exercise before going to bed.
