About St. Cloud State
St. Cloud State campus is an award-winning regional public university and proud member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Our undergraduate programs hold nearly every national accreditation. Students choose from more than 200 majors, minors and pre-professional programs, including regional rarities such as meteorology and geographic information systems.
The campus is on the oak-crowned west bank of the Mississippi River in the fast-growing metropolitan area of St. Cloud and just 70 miles northwest of the beautiful and culturally rich Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Renowned for our colleges of education and business, St. Cloud State also has popular programs in fields such as as mass communications, medical technology, nursing, criminal justice, electrical engineering and business computer information systems. Classes are taught by professors who mentor, instruct and impart a lifelong love of learning as well as practical knowledge and career preparation. Seventy-nine percent have attained the highest academic level for their field and more than 40 percent have international teaching experience.
The School of Graduate Studies offers more than 60 programs, including doctoral degrees in Higher Education Administration and Educational Administration and Leadership, and a Master of Business Administration from the acclaimed Herberger Business School.
St. Cloud State is a dynamic environment that values active and applied learning, community engagement, sustainability, and global and cultural understanding. Campus life is enriched by about 250 student clubs and organizations and a full component of men's and women's athletics, including the Division I men's and women's hockey.
