H1N1 at St. Cloud State

Campus Update: December 9, 2009

Student Health Services will have a H1N1 vaccination clinic for students, faculty and staff in the Atwood Memorial Center on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Oak Room. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and State and Local Health Departments have recommended that our supply of vaccine be reserved for the following groups:

  • Age 6 months through 24 years with or without a health condition that puts them at higher risk of medical complications from influenza.
  • Age 25 years through 64 years with a chronic medical condition that puts them at higher risk of medical complications from influenza (asthma or other chronic pulmonary disease; cancer; cardiovascular disease; diabetes; weakened immune system; or kidney, liver, blood, or neurological disorders).
  • Pregnant women.
  • Health care providers or emergency medical services personnel.
  • Persons living with or caring for children less than 6 months of age.

If you meet the above criteria, an appointment is not required. We will accommodate people at this walk-in clinic on a first-come, first-serve basis until our supply is gone.  There is no charge for the vaccination.
