Community Psychology Undergraduate Handbook
What are the requirements for the Community Psychology Majors?
In order to graduate from SCSU with a B.S. degree it is necessary to complete the following:
- Complete a minimum of 120 Credits.
- Complete at least 45 credits at the 300-400 level.
- Complete General Education Requirements.* See the SCSU Undergraduate Bulletin and/or http://bulletin.stcloudstate.edu/ugb/programs/cpsy.asp
- Complete 3 diversity courses. One must be a racial issues course.*
- Complete the course requirements for the B.S. in Community Psychology Major, B.S. in Chemical Dependency, or the Bachelor of Elective Studies.
- Complete at least 30 credits at SCSU, normally the last 30.
* Transfer students may have completed some of these requirements at previous schools or may be exempted from them. Talk to the SCSU Advising Center (CH 229) to find out exactly what you must do. To find out which courses transfer, call Scott Mortrude in Records at 308-5138.
