What courses do I take to get 120 semester credits?

The 120 credits required for graduation include:  General Education Courses, Major Courses, and either Minor Courses or University Electives.  Please see the SCSU University Bulletin and Semester Schedules for a complete and up to date description of the General Education Requirements.

Minor and University Electives

Students completing the B.S. in Community Psychology will complete between 44 and 53 credits in their major (depending on the number of credits for CPSY 326 or CPSY 444). Students will also complete a total of 41 credits in the General Education Requirements. Thus students will complete between 87 and 96 credits, of the 120 credits required to graduate.  The remaining credits are completed as a Minor in another department or taking additional courses as University Electives.  Students completing the B.S. in Chemical Dependency do not need to complete a minor nor take additional University Electives.
