Description:
The mission of the Community Psychology Organization is to create a well-structured, highly motivating organization to:

  1. educate each of it's members above and beyond their academic loyalties;
  2. explore and debate all aspects of applied psychology and current upcoming issues in the field;
  3. help communities prosper in the psychologically related service projects we offer;
  4. inform members of graduate school application process and resume writing skills necessary to succeed in careers;
  5. acknowledge upcoming graduates and their hard work and dedication to the field of Psychology; and
  6. instill upon each member the skills of public speaking and involvement and awareness within the applied psychology field.

Meetings:
Community Psychology meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 4:30 in the Student Lounge of the Education Building. Any SCSU students in human services are welcome to join.
