Chemical Dependency Certificate Program
The Chemical Dependency certificate program provides academic and experiential training for individuals seeking chemical dependency counselor licensure. Upon completion, students are prepared to apply for the Minnesota Licensed Addictions and Drug Counselor licensure and work in the treatment of addictions. Many of the students seeking this certificate are also enrolled in related masters programs. However, an applicant does not need to be admitted to the Community Counseling or any other masters programs to be admitted to the graduate chemical dependency certificate program.
