Description:
Behavior Analysis Network and Design (BAND) is a student organization
founded in the year 2000. Members of BAND are interested in behavior analysis
and its application to community and social problems. The purpose of BAND
is to establish a network of support among students, stay abreast of current
issues in the field, and design contingencies for behavioral change. BAND
is an advocate for the field of behavior analysis. This organization is
open to all graduate students and upper level undergraduate students in
the field of Psychology.
Meetings:
Meetings are held weekly when college is in session (there are no meetings
held the first week of the month unless specified). The last meeting of
the month is set aside for a recreational activity (e.g., restaurant,
movie, etc...). Meetings are held in the Education Building.

Special Projects:
Members of BAND contribute to the community by volunteering time for special
projects (e.g., behavioral workshops.)
Other:
Some of the ongoing topics of interest for BAND include generating ideas
for thesis topics, updating resumes, and planning for conferences and
special events that address behavioral issues.
