South Korea Exchange Programs brochure

Standing proud... from Yonsei, out to the world

SCSU's exchange agreement with Yonsei University in South Korea provides an opportunity for SCSU undergraduate students to study for a semester or a full year in Korea. Yonsei University has two separate campuses. The main campus in the capital city of Seoul, and the Global Village in Wonju, a city located approximately two hours from Seoul. All classes are taught in English by foreign professors and focus on East Asian studies. The spacious and relaxing city of Seoul is known for its many parks, coffee shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Wonju is surrounded by beautiful landscape and it is the perfect location for experiencing first-hand Korean language and culture.

The student body is comprised of about thirty-eight thousands students in 17 undergraduate colleges, 15 graduate schools and 4 international programs. The city of Seoul is known for its nightlife and is packed with coffee shops, restaurants, and clubs. On the other hand, Yonsei University, while still in Seoul, is described as being very spacious and relaxing with many parks to stroll through. It's the best of both worlds in one location.

Academic Program

This program provides an opportunity for SCSU students to take courses as a part of Yonsei University, provided that they meet all prerequisites of a particular course and it will be based on course availability at the time of registration.
