SCSU's exchange agreement with the Catholic University of Seoul provides an opportunity for SCSU undergraduate students to study for a semester or a full year in Korea. Classes are offered in English and students are required to take Korean language courses. The spacious and relaxing city of Seoul is known for its many parks, coffee shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
Location
The University consists of 3-branch colleges: Songsin, Songsim and Songeui. Two are located in Seoul, with the third in neighboring Bucheon City.
Academic Program
Students from all majors are welcome to apply for this program. No prior language skills are required for this exchange program. Students are required to take Korean language, history and culture courses. Some classes are offered in English.
Living Accommodations
Exchange students will stay in university owned and operated residence halls.
Selection
The student must have completed at least one year of continuous study at SCSU and be a sophomore with a 2.5 GPA. The program is limited to three students per term. An interview will be required for placement.
Program Costs and Financial Aid
Participating students will pay SCSU tuition, but all other applicable fees, including special course fees, international orientation fee, key deposits, books, and housing costs will be paid to the host university. Food, transportation (including air fare), and other travel is the responsibility of the student.
