Our St. Cloud State education abroad programs take students to dozens of countries around the world, and if there’s a place our University doesn't have a program, we can still help you get there. Our accredited U.S. university affiliates offer a variety of Non-SCSU programs and options:
- Non-SCSU program brochure
- Winona State University: SCSU has an agreement with WSU for a summer Travel Study trip to Guatemala. The program is geared toward Counseling, Social Work and Psychology majors.
- Fulbright Program:sponsored by the US State Dept.; Offers many grants and scholarships for general academic programs, study/research, student teaching, as well as other travel opportunities.
- American Institute for Foreign Studies
- AsiaLearn:providing education abroad and internship opportunities in Asia
- Augsburg College: Agreement with SCSU for a semester abroad in Mexico, Social Work in a Latin American Context
- AustraLearn:providing education abroad opportunities in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
- Arcadia:providing education abroad, research, and internship opportunities all over the world.
- College Consortium for International Studies:offering more than 80 education abroad opportunities in 31 countries.
- Council on International Education Exchange
- Eurolearn: Provides study and research opportunities for mainly European countries.
- IFSA Butler University: IFSA-Butler currently operates programs in Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, England, India, Mexico, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Peru, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
- Institute of International Education Passport:offering a variety of options for worldwide education abroad and scholarship support.
- International Studies Abroad:offering a variety of options for worldwide education abroad.
- University of Minnesota:offering a variety of education abroad options worldwide.

Step 1: Talk with Education Abroad staff to make sure that the option you have chosen is your best option
Step 2: Apply for the Education Abroad program
Step 3: Gain acceptance on the Education Abroad program and then Complete the Non-SCSU Application to complete the SCSU process for financial aid and other processes to remain an SCSU student.
