Housing Information
Housing can pose a challenge for students learning abroad as many options have limited terms of availability, typically obligating students for the entire academic year. Students have a variety of options ranging from on-campus to off-, with roommates or without, that will be able to meet varying needs.
On-Campus Housing
-
The SCSU Residence Life office can accommodate students who are interested in living on campus but will only be able to stay for one of the two semesters in the academic year. SCSU has nine different resident halls and promise the perks of location, convenience, service and community. Students have a variety of living options, including gender-based floors, coed floors, traditional residence halls, and apartment living. If you are interested in living in the SCSU residence halls, please apply on-line by visiting their website at www.stcloudstate.edu/reslife.
Off-Campus Housing
- Students who choose to live off-campus have the opportunity to participate in the SCSU Education Abroad Housing Exchange on Facebook. This group is open to all SCSU students and matches students in need of sub-leasers, roommates, or other places to rent. By joining the group, you will be able to post what you are looking for or browse what’s available. Using Facebook allows for easy communication with possible students to exchange housing with or to get to know potential roommates. Please visit our group or stop by the office for more information.
