Description:
The Education Minnesota Student Program (EMSP) is a student organization affiliated with Education Minnesota Teacher Union. It is an organization that helps prepare prospective educators for a career in the field of education. It also is an advocate for the politics of education.
The core values are: Integrity, Inclusive, Excellence, and Dynamic.
Meetings:
Meetings are held at various times to accommodate for varied schedules. Times and places are announced monthly on our EMSP bulletin board located outside the Teacher Development Office.

If you are interested in joining or would like more information, send an e-mail to emsp@stcloudstate.edu or fill out an information card located on the EMSP bulletin board. You will then receive e-mails about meetings and upcoming events.
Special Projects:
EMSP car pools to the Education Minnesota Convention, holds a Teacher Panel, and Crayola Workshop. The biggest event is the Read-a-thon held on the birthday of Dr. Suess. Other projects include a variety of activities from special speakers to resume writing and interviewing. Besides all the learning that takes place, we also have a variety of socials as an opportunity to meet others in the field of education

It is open to all educators: Elementary, Secondary, Special Education, and CFS majors.
You can join at anytime and the membership cost for the year ($10.00), semester ($6.00) Note: You must attend five events to be considered an active member (2 can be meetings).
