Minnesota Economic Development Center

The Minnesota Economic Development Center was established through a grant from the Economic Development Administration under the University Center program. Its mission is to provide technical assistance to economic development professionals in Minnesota. Through this technical assistance, the Center seeks to build institutional capacity, foster economic development, and alleviate economic stress. We serve all of Minnesota outside of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Assistance is provided to existing development agencies and institutions by complimenting the efforts of those groups to promote economic and business development. We work directly with the Regional Development Commissions, counties and cities to link university services and other public and private resources. For more information, please contact us at (320) 308-3742 by phone, (320) 308-2228 by fax or meedwards@stcloudstate.edu by email.
