ECE Department Scholarship

The amount and number of scholarship (s) is to be determined.

Eligibility: Open to students who are currently enrolled as EE majors and have at least one year of course work remaining towards their B.S. degree.

Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers Southeast Chapter Scholarship

This scholarship is open to individuals currently enrolled in an approved engineering curriculum as a freshman, sophomore, junior or first term senior who is planning to continue as an engineering student in the fall of the current year.

Eligibility:

  • Former Methcounts Participant
  • Home of record within Southeast Chapter Geographic Area
  • Grade Point Average
  • College or University proximity to Southwest Chapter Geographic Area
  • Financial Need

Idziorek, Joseph; Ficker, Justin; Boesche, Josh: Their senior design project (Vulcan) has won Student Research Fund ($1500), Denise McGuire award ($300), 2nd place for IEEE paper contest ($300), IEEE Twin Cities Branch (for RIT Contest Funding; $1500), Best Poster award from Student Research Colloquium 2007 ($500).
