Accreditation Committee Meeting Minutes

Attending: Kay, Xidong, Mark
- Educational Objectives revision: objectives were discussed and revised and will be present in the department meeting next week (Tues Feb 20th)
- The name of the “Course Assessment report” form will be changed to “Course Improvement report” since it is used to document changes or improvements made in each course.
- Rubric assessment: new idea was discussed. Kay will develop a rubric to assess students’ performance in each class. Rubrics for assessing senior design report and for assessing senior design project need to be finalized.
- On-going assessment
- Alumni survey: discussed the contents and will be sent out to Alumni in April. Questions in the survey should help assess those Edu. Obj.
- Pre-req exam and Course Improvement Report: Kay will collect the forms for this academic yea
- Textbook collection: Mark will collect textbooks used in all ECE classes and put them in an assessment office.
