iPad, iPod Touch Workshop
October 2010
During the month of October 2010, the CTC provided a series of lectures and training sessions on the use of iPad and iPod Touch in the classroom.
The training series kicked off with Dr. Susan Sutton of SCSU's Center for Information Media delivering a lecture on integrating mobile technologies, especially iPad and iPod Touch in the classroom.

Dana Woods & May Yuan, from the Curriculum & Technology Center in the College of Education, hosted a Brown Bag lunch in the CTC (EB-A126) at 12:30 p.m. This session focused on hands-on training and discovery learning in the following apps:
- Air Sketch
The Air Sketch application turns your iPad into a wireless slate that can be viewed through a web browser.
- iBrainstorm
iBrainstorm is a collaborative concept mapping application for the iPad and the iPod touch/iPhone. Up to four iPod touches and one iPad can connect and users collaborate on building concept maps.
- Storykit
The StoryKit app for iPod and iPad allows users dreate an electronic storybook with images, audio, drawing and creativity.
