Pre-Conference Programs you will be attending:

"A Few Push-Ups: A Tastes of RBC" Pre-Conference Workshop (RBC)

Since 2004, Recruitment Boot Camp has been changing the face of the Greek Communities across the North-America. RBC has taught close to 5,000 student leaders how to massively improve their recruitment process. Results have been outstanding, even up to a 40% increase in single year!

A version of the program, RBC: Special Ops, has been brought to over a dozen national organizations teaching recruitment with their specific values, culture and framework. And now the campus version, RBC: Training Day is being facilitated on campuses around the country to impact an entire campus culture all at once.

In this abbreviated program "A Few Pushups: A Taste of RBC" you will
experience a portion of the curriculum and how it has been able to literally
transform recruitment in chapters and communities across the country.

"Crossing the Line" Pre-Conference Workshop (CAP)
The term "hazing" is vague, and the actions behind it are secret. The consequences vary wildly, and the line between hazing and tradition, between positive and negative, and between harmless fun and potentially life-threatening activities can be very blurry. It isn't hard to understand why students struggle with the issue. This pre-conference will explore the various levels of hazing activity and will help students talk about how to deal with each. It will include an exploration of our values and how hazing fits. Most importantly, we will explore the hidden harm that hazing can cause. The high profile deaths and injuries make the news, but how does hazing impact students' lives in everyday, behind the scenes ways? Finally, we will end with a frank discussion about the purposes of hazing, followed by action-planning around solutions and alternatives.
