Fraternity & Sorority Faculty Academic Advisor

Greek Logo 10

Greek2logoIV SCSU Fraternities & Sororities are committed to strengthening scholarship and academic success. The mission, purpose, and creeds espouse academics as a value. Our academic and scholarship program for our Greek Community includes the extensive value and need of Faculty Advisors.

The essential elements of a Faculty Advisor program and how the Greek Community can provide support.

SCSU requires all student organizations (including fraternities and sororities) to have a faculty advisor.  For many, this is interpreted as someone to sign the annual recognition form. The essential role of a faculty advisor for the SCSU Fraternity & Sorority Community is a key component to our success in upholding our espoused values as organizations.

SCSU Fraternity & Sorority Academic & Scholarship Committee

SCSU's Fraternities & Sororities have recognized the need for organization and leadership in conducting a scholarship program and have established a "Academic & Scholarship committee," charged with the responsibility for overseeing the academic welfare of the Greek Community and its members.
