Fraternity & Sorority Academic Support & Resources: Academic Transitions
ACADEMIC TRANSITIONS
|
The focus of an academic excellence program will be of greater interest to the first or second year college student, the one who is learning to be successful, learning what he/she hopes to achieve with a college degree. For you, as a third or fourth year student, the focus has shifted to what lies beyond. You can see that there is life after college and are preparing to enter it.
Study programs need to go beyond traditional study incentives or seminars on how to study. Group projects and presentations are often a major part of upper division course and deserve equal recognition in competitions for study hours. |
