The C. Charles Jackson Leadership Grant

Develop Your Leadership Potential

The St. Cloud State University Student Leadership Grant Program enables college students to have in-depth leadership development experience at regional and national conferences.  The grants of up to $500 allow students to explore leadership in an academic environment, with students from other colleges and universities across the country.

How the Program Works

• Select from several pre-approved leadership conferences that is of interest to you and your personal/professional Development. 
• Complete the requirements and submit a grant request using the link to the online application process on this page.
• A University committee reviews the requests and awards the grant based on the application criteria, including your plan to use the skills you learned to benefit the SCSU community.
• Attend the conference!
• After returning from the conference, the grant will reimburse you for expenses in the amount of the grant you have received.
• Grant recipients must complete grant assessment materials including pre- and post-conference

Grant Request Cycles

Cycle 1

Applications due June 10, 2008, 4:30 p.m.

Grant notification by June 20, 2008

Cycle 2

Applications due October 3, 2008, 4:30 p.m.

Grant notification by October 17, 2008
