The SCSU Award for Excellence in Leadership |
The University Award for Excellence in Leadership identifies and honors students who have demonstrated outstanding leadership while at St. Cloud State University. The program recognizes students who, through their leadership efforts, have made significant contributions to St. Cloud State University and their communities based on an evaluation of their academic commitment and their leadership experiences.
The 2007-08 Excellence in Leadership Award Winners will be recognized at the 20th Annual Excellence in Leadership Awards Banquet on Sunday, April 20, 2008.

The Awards Deadline for 2007-08 was Friday, February 1at 4:30 pm in the CSOLD office, Atwood Center139. Please contact the Center for Student Organizations and Leadership Development at 320-308-3004 with any questions you may have.
Eligibility Requirements
- have student status during the current academic year. You can graduate in fall 2006 and still be eligible
- Undergraduate Student minimum cumulativeGPA- 3.0 and at least 92 credits earned at the end of Fall 2007
- Graduate Student minimum cumulative GPA- 3.5 and at least 18 graduate semester credits by end of fall semester 2007 (a minimum of 12 semester credits earned at SCSU
- submit a completed, typed application, available on-line at: www.stcloudstate.edu/csold/leadership/award.asp
- submit no more or less than two letters of recommendation
- demonstrate evidence of leadership (campus and/or community as a graduate student at SCSU)
- previous recipients of the Excellence in Leadership Award are not eligible to apply

Download the tool that the award committee uses to evaluate the quality of the application. The goal is to help the applicant understand what a well-developed application looks like and to help the applicant reflect on their experiences in submitting the application. |
