Stronger leaders lead to stronger organizations. The Law of the L.I.D. explains how your leadership development can impact your college involvement and leadership experience.

We base our structure on Roberts & Ullom’s (1989) framework for organizing student leadership programs:

Leadership Education

Leadership Training

Experiential Learning

Leadership Development

St. Cloud State University hosts leadership exploration, education, training,

and development experiences in many different contexts throught out the University. Students can explore and engage in many types of experiences within academics, co-curricular, and specific programs.

We believe that Leadership is multi-dimensional and is an ongoing process of development and exploration that occurs through out many student experiences and entities at SCSU.

We feel its important to frame what constitutes leadership learning experiences as occuring in all kinds of contexts for students at SCSU.
