Arvid Hansen Scholarship

Open to Criminal Justice majors (odd years) and Sociology majors (even years).

Criteria:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Junior or Senior
  • In financial need

Caldecott Scholarship

Open to Criminal Justice majors with expressed interest in attending law school.

Criteria:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.25
  • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior
  • Must show financial need
  • Demonstrated leadership potential

Kimberly Ann Ritsche Scholarship

Open to Female undergraduates admitted to the Criminal Justice major.

Size:         $1,000

Criteria:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.25
  • Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior
  • Must show positive influence on and respect for others
  • Demonstrated devotion to physical fitness

Criminal Justice Scholarship (Funds donated by Federated Insurance)

Open to Criminal Justice majors with involvement or interest in the risk management and insurance field.

Application Deadline:     October 15th of each year

Decision and Award:        December 1st of each year

Distribution of Funds:      the following SPRING semester

Size:         $1,000

Criteria:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.00 overall, and a Minimum GPA of 3.25 in major
  • Junior or Senior
  • Minimum of 2 criminal justice or insurance classes completed
  • The scholarship will not be awarded to students in their last semester; at least one semester of undergraduate work must be left to complete his or her bachelor program
  • Evidence of community service
  • Decision date is December 1st of each year

Joseph E. Plant "Living the Dream" Memoral Scholarship

Open to Criminal Justice majors with an expressed interest in the field of law

enforcement; must be a member of the Criminal Justice Association.

Application Deadline:  March 1st of each year

Applied to the Student’s Account during the following FALL Semester.

Size:         $2,000

Criteria:

  • Minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Applicant may apply during his or her sophomore or junior year
  • Applicant must be a junior or senior at the time the scholarship funds are used
  • There must be at least one semester of undergraduate study remaining following disbursement of the funds; funds cannot be distributed to a student in his or her final semester
  • Applicant must complete a 500 word essay describing his or her goals for a career in the criminal justice field

Olga B. Satre Hart Giving Back Memorial Scholarship

Open to Criminal Justice, Nursing, Gerontology, and Social Work.
