The College of Science and Engineering's 2014 Denise M. McGuire Student Research Award was given out at the closing ceremony of the Student Research Colloquium (SRC) on April 15th.  Interim Dean Dan Gregory awarded 20 students in the College of Science and Engineering nearly $4,000 in student research award money.  To be eligible for the award the students had to submit a 10-page paper of the research they engaged in during the academic year and then present at the SRC.  A committee reviewed the papers and determined the amount of each award.
