Reginald W. Bennett is a Senior Policy Analyst, Office of Regulatory Science, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition, USFDA. He holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in microbiology from the University of Pittsburg, PA. He is presently section leader in microbial toxins, with primary interest in: Staphylococcus and Bacillus species toxins, and serodiagnosis of Listeria monocytogenes. He is a member and Fellow of the Association of Official Analytical Chemists International (AOACI), American Society for Microbiology, Institute of Food Technologists, International Association of Food Protection and Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology (FAAM). He has received many agency and food safety organizational awards and is cited in Who’s Who in America (2009), the World (2010) and Science and Engineering (2011-2012).
