Driver Improvement Program
These classes are designed to be informative, interesting and to provide you the latest safety information. We partner with AAA MN and AAA Mpls to bring you this important driver safety program that includes information on crash data trends, defensive driving tips, changes in laws, changes in vehicle technology, and the latest traffic safety information.
Participants 55 and older will earn a 10% discount on their auto insurance premium by taking the initial 8 hr course. The 10% discount can be maintained by taking a 4 hr refresher course every 3 yrs.
This is an approved accident prevention course with the MN Dept of Public Safety and is similar in content to the nationally recognized 55 Alive or 55 plus course.
Cost: The 8 hr course fee is $24. The 4 hr course fee is $20.
Violator/Court Ordered Defensive Driver
Thus is an awareness level course for persons who may be court ordered or are participating in a citation forgiveness or diversion program. This is an 8 hr course. Learn more, by contacting us at, 1-888-234-1294.
Cost: The violator-court ordered defensive driver course fee is $100.
