Evening and Weekend Degree Programs

Do you want to complete your Bachelor’s Degree?
Perhaps you want to start an Associate of Arts degree, or a Master’s degree program?
If you answered yes, then St. Cloud State University may be the right place for you!
SCSU is committed to providing opportunities for those who want to learn but can’t take classes during the day, or can’t even come to campus at all.
For adult learners seeking to earn college credit toward a degree, SCSU has created a mix of learning options: evening classes, online courses, interactive television off-campus courses, and even some weekend courses.
St. Cloud State University’s Center for Continuing Studies can help you design the higher education program that is right for you.

Who can take classes in the evening?

• Part-time and full-time students can take classes in the evening. Some evening students are working toward a degree and others take courses for personal enrichment or professional growth.
• You can take up to 8 credits per semester without being formally admitted to SCSU (you will be considered a “Special Student”).
• Formal admittance is obtained through the Admission Office. Students over 21 need not take ACT/SAT entrance examinations.
