Quotes from past Pathways Students

  • “Not everything in the world is easy.  Life is hard. Pick yourself up and pick up life where you left it.  I refuse and choose not to be another statistic in the record books.  I want a better life, I want to better myself.  I want to change.”
  • “That is hope.  When all is lost and one is blind, one loses one’s faith and hope.  But with a second chance for renewal in life to get a higher education, why not?  There is nothing to lose here.  Either way you gain something at the end.”
  • “With the right attitude, hard work, much effort and opportunity, only time will tell what people do with the education they have received in prison.  It’s not how you got your education, it’s how bad do you want it and where you go from there.”
