Instructions for Scheduling a Proctored Exam

 

What is a proctored exam:

A proctored exam is an exam that is administered by an individual who supervises the student while they are taking the exam. The proctor’s function is to ensure the integrity and security of the exam in a secure environment.

 

Scheduling a proctored exam with Continuing Studies:

To schedule an exam with the Testing Center at the Center for Continuing Studies, please visit the following site: https://www5.stcloudstate.edu/ContinuingStudies/ProctoredExam/Student/.

You will need to know your StarID and Password. Once you have logged in successfully, you can schedule your exam(s) in a minimal 1 hour block. Please give yourself adequate time to complete your exam.

You will be given the option to sign up for a Paper exam or an Online (Computer Based) exam. Consult your course syllabus for information on the format of your exam or quiz as well as information on time limits and exam deadlines. The Testing Center is open 8-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
