St. Cloud State University and Anoka-Ramsey Community College are teaming up to offer you graduate classes in Information Media at Anoka-Ramsey's convenient Coon Rapids campus.
Information Media programs provide critical skills for the Information Age. Learn how to use the power of information in practical applications – as a school media specialist, as an instructional designer/trainer or information technology professional.
This unique partnership between St. Cloud State University and Anoka-Ramsey Community College will deliver high-quality, affordable graduate courses offered at an accessible location.

Classes start this fall
Our six-course sequence at Anoka-Ramsey begins in September. Classes will have an accelerated format, allowing you to complete a course in just 4 to 6 weeks. You can earn 9 graduate credits a semester or as many as 18 Information Media graduate credits by mid-May. We've scheduled courses so you can take them one at a time, in the most effective order.

IM 502: Information Media Theory, Research and Practice: An overview of the nature, forms and uses of information media. Starts Tuesday, Oct. 25
IM 504: Instructional Design 1: An introduction to instructional design. Starts Friday, Nov. 18
SPRING 2006 COURSES
IM 555: Design and Preparation of Multimedia Presentations 1 : A hands-on course in design and production of instructor-led multimedia presentations. Starts Friday, Jan. 6
IM 552: Access to Information: An overview of computer information access for research and distribution of information services. Starts Friday, Feb. 24.
IM 608: Research Methods in Media: An examination of methods for evaluating research procedures and interpreting findings. Starts Tuesday, April 6.
Courses are arranged around your workday
Each class meets from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. for three to five Tuesdays and one weekend session that runs from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on a Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Credits are competitively priced
St. Cloud State University 's cost-per-credit is lower than many other graduate programs. Cost for a 3-credit course is $873.27. Cost for a 2-credit course is $602.18. (Tuition is subject to change.)
Admission Requirements
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
A 2.75 grade point average over the last half of undergraduate education (4 full semesters or equivalent).
Meet the minimum score requirement on the Graduate Records Exam.
