Computer Programing

The Center for Continuing Studies offers three certificate programs designed to build proficiency in three of the most powerful and useful programming languages in the world. The certificates are designed for anyone who needs programming proficiency or wants to increase their professional abilities and opportunities.

Designed to take students from the basics of programming through the advanced use of these languages, the courses are specifically useful to those with only a modest understanding of the computer.

The Certificate Programs are non-credit courses intended for those who want to upgrade their skills in the practical aspects and applications of these programming languages. They are intended for anyone interested in developing their skills in computer programming and will be especially useful for people working in industry, management, computer science, and engineering. They may also apply to anyone who feels that programming proficiency will contribute to their career. They do not require formal admission to SCSU nor are the courses applicable to any degree programs at SCSU.

Requirements

In order to complete any one of these certificate programs, students must complete all 4 credits and pass all assignments and exams with at least a 70%.

Dates

These classes will be held “on-line” each Fall, Spring and Summer session.
